  • Received the Paul “Lil Buck” Senegal Creole Heritage Award. (2025)
  • Represented the State of Louisiana at the 135th Tournament of Roses Rose Parade on New Year’s Day. (2024)
  • Performed music featured in Walt Disney World’s Tiana’s Bayou Adventure water attraction inspired by the Louisiana-themed The Princess and the Frog movie. (2024) 
  • Wrote and produced “What Do You See?” protest song in honor of George Floyd. (2020) 
  • Co-created Creole United to establish new Creole Standards and preserve Creole language in music. (2013)
  • Released the first Christian Zydeco album How Great Is Your Love. (2009)
  • Founded Zydekool Records becoming the first Zydeco artist to start a record label. (1999)
  • Performed at the National Mall Fourth of July celebration before a live audience of 500,000 and simulcast to 10 million people on NPR and PBS. 
  • Pullin’ named Amazon.com’s Top 100 CDs of 2001.
  • Performed (at age 20) with The Ardoin Family Band at Carnegie Hall for the prestigious venue’s 100th anniversary.
