We began 2025 with an incredible honor: a fifth GRAMMY nomination. My album, “25: Back to My Roots,” was recognized for Best Regional Roots Music Album.
This project is deeply personal, a heartfelt celebration of the vibrant culture and music of Southwest Louisiana. It’s more than just an album; it’s a reflection of my journey and a tribute to the Kreole Rock and Soul genre, a sound I’ve dedicated myself to innovating and sharing with the world. From paying homage to the traditional sounds of Zydeco to weaving in fresh, modern elements, “25: Back to My Roots” is my way of preserving our Creole heritage while propelling it forward.
While we didn’t bring home the GRAMMY this time, being nominated among the top five in the Best Regional Roots Music Album category is an immense privilege. Your unwavering support means everything. Thank you for being a part of this journey. Let’s continue to listen, create, and evolve the sound of Regional Roots music together.
I had the honor and pleasure of seeing legendary drummer Sheila E. at the GRAMMY nominee party in Los Angeles. Y’all, she said loved my music and thought my video was “Dope!” Her words. You can’t make this stuff up!

Paying tribute to my fifth GRAMMY-nom for “25: Back To My Roots” with this custom tux by Bespoke Batiste Collection. Harold never misses.
